© At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC requires every client to read and sign the following policy agreement before any cat grooming service is performed.
§1. Appointments
§1.1. Appointment Times
Appointment times offered by © At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC correspond to estimated arrival times. As a mobile service, our schedule is subject to interruptions and delays, including but not limited to long driving distances, heavy traffic, refueling, and delays from previous appointments. Therefore, arrival time may be within 1 hour of the offered appointment time. We will call ahead to inform the client if there is a delay or advance of 15 minutes or more.
§1.2. Cancellations
As our appointment schedule is tightly booked for specific areas, we require a minimum of 72 hours’ advance notice from the client to cancel an appointment. Failure to cancel on time will result in a charge of $75.
On rare occasions, © At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC may need to cancel appointments due to weather, road conditions, or equipment failure. Every effort will be made to notify the client in advance.
§1.3. Pre-Grooming Preparation
Clients must secure their cats in a carrier so they can be transported to the van. We strongly suggest that clients refrain from feeding their cats immediately before grooming to avoid upset stomachs, especially if they are nervous.
§2. Pricing and Payments
§2.1. Pricing
Our prices vary according to cat breed, size, coat type, condition, and behavior. We will provide the client with a quote once all the required information about the cat is available. Prices might be slightly adjusted at the time of service.
§2.2. Deposit
New clients must pay a deposit of $50 per cat to book an appointment (see §2.3 for payment methods). The deposit is non-refundable and goes toward the total. If the deposit is not received, the appointment will not be booked.
§2.3. Payment Methods
Payment of the remaining balance is due upon completion of services and can be made with cash, credit card, or money transfers via Zelle, Venmo, or Apple Pay.
§3. Clarifications, Special Circumstances, and Other Penalties
§3.1. Veterinary Care
Our top priority is the comfort and safety of pets. If your cat becomes ill or is involuntarily hurt during grooming and the services of a veterinarian are required, the client permits us to obtain treatment if they are not available to do so and agrees to pay such expenses.
© At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC does not administer sedatives to pets. If your cat requires sedation for grooming, please arrange this with your veterinarian and inform us in advance of the appointment.
§3.2. Vaccination Requirements
For the safety of all of our clients’ cats, we only serve cats with current vaccine certificates for:
- Rabies
- Distemper-Parvo (FVRCP)
- Bordetella (Kennel Cough)
§3.3. Flea/Tick Infestation
For the safety of all of our clients’ cats, we do not groom cats with ticks or fleas. Grooming services may be stopped if ticks or fleas are found on the client’s cat. In this event, the client will be responsible for paying for pro-rated grooming services or a $105 trip fee (whichever is greater). Please consult a veterinarian for treatment before (re)scheduling an appointment with us.
§3.4. Aggressive or Unmanageable Cats
Clients must inform us if their cats have bitten in the past, are aggressive toward people or other cats, feel uncomfortable with specific grooming procedures, or suffer from separation anxiety. © At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC reserves the right to refuse or stop services for such cats before or during the grooming process. The client will be responsible for paying a pro-rated amount for the portion of the groom completed, or a $125 trip fee (whichever is greater), or an aggressive cat fee in addition to the regular grooming charge. Clients will be held liable for any injuries to the groomers or property damage caused by their cats.
§3.5. Seniors and Cats with Health Issues
Grooming procedures can be stressful for seniors and cats with health issues, potentially exposing hidden medical conditions or aggravating existing ones during or after grooming. Because seniors and cats with health issues have a greater chance of injury, they will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, avoiding any procedures that could add to their stress. The client hereby agrees not to hold © At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC responsible for accidents or injuries to an elderly or health-compromised cat during grooming.
§3.6. Cats with Sensitive Skin
© At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC is not liable for allergic reactions resulting from the manufacturer’s recommended use of grooming products. Scented shampoos, sprays, colognes, and latex bands are used during grooming procedures. Please inform us if your cat is allergic to these products and consult a veterinarian to address product concerns.
§3.7. Advertising
The client authorizes © At Your Bark and Call Mobile Pet Salon LLC to take photos and videos of the client’s cat before, during, and after grooming for advertising purposes on the company’s website and social media (e.g., Facebook, Instagram).
