Pre-booking
At Your Bark And Call Mobile Pet Salon strongly recommends pre-scheduling appointments. This guarantees that your pet will be kept in excellent condition because there will be no waiting for an opening when you call. Even if you call ahead of time, groomer schedules may be booked several weeks out.
Appointment Times:
When At Your Bark And Call Mobile Pet Salon offers an appointment time, it is truly an ‘estimated time of arrival’. Groomers arrival time will be in a 1-hour time span. As a mobile service, our schedule is subject to interruptions and delays, such as, but not limited to: Refueling, traffic, driving distance from previous appointment and running over on a previous appointment. If the groomer feels they will be more than 15 minutes early or late, the groomer will call ahead.
Tick Policy
We will NOT groom any pet with ticks. Owners will be responsible for keeping their pets free of ticks. Grooming services may be stopped in the event the groomer finds any ticks on a pet. In this event, owners will be responsible for the payment of pro-rated grooming services or payment of a $65 trip fee (whichever is greater). If you know your pet does have ticks, please refer your pet to your veterinarian for treatment before scheduling an appointment with us. This ensures your pet, and the pets of other customers do not acquire ticks from within our grooming vans.
Cancellations
Our appointment schedule is very tightly booked for specific areas. If you cannot keep your appointment, we require at least 48 hours advance notice, so that we may fill your spot. Failure to cancel in advance will result in a charge of $40 that must be paid prior to your next appointment. On rare occasions, At Your Bark And Call Mobile Pet Salon may need to cancel appointments due to weather, road conditions, equipment failure, etc. Every effort will be made to contact you in advance.
Aggressive or Dangerous Pets
Safety comes first for everyone during the grooming process for our groomers as well as pets. Owners MUST inform At Your Bark And Call Mobile Pet Salon if your pet bites, has bitten, or is aggressive to people, other pets or specific grooming procedures. Muzzles may be used if necessary. Muzzling will not harm your pet, and protects both the pet and the groomer. We reserve the right to refuse/stop services for such pets at any time before or during the grooming process. We will charge a pro-rated amount for the groom that has been completed or a $65 trip fee (whichever is greater), or charge an aggressive dog fee in addition to the regular grooming charge. Owners will be held liable for any bites or any property damage caused by their pet.
Matted Coats
We do NOT de-matt coats. This is a timely and painful procedure for your pet to endure. It contradicts our stress/anxiety free philosophy. A heavily matted coat will need to be removed to allow for new healthy coat growth.
Pricing Policy
Our prices vary according to breed, size, type and condition of coat and behavior of your pet. We are happy to give you an estimate on the phone, but keep in mind prices might need to be adjusted slightly at the time of service.
Accepted Payment Methods
We accept cash, check, money order or equivalent. Payment is due upon completion of services. There will be an additional charge of $30 for all returned checks due to insufficient funds.
Senior Pets & Pets with Health Issues
Grooming procedures can sometimes be stressful, especially for a senior pet or pet with health problems. This can expose hidden medical conditions or aggravate existing ones during or after the grooming. Because senior pets and pets with health problems have a greater chance of injury, these pets will be groomed for cleanliness and comfort, in styles that will not add to their stress. You hereby agree not to hold At Your Bark And Call Mobile Pet Salon responsible for accident or injury to an elderly or health-compromised pet during their grooming.
